Buddha Too

The Buddha was David's first painting sold at his first art exhibit in 2011.

Thrilled with the positive feedback, he decided to make a second painting of Buddha but oddly, no matter how hard he tried, he could not bring the same face to the new painting.

Painstakingly he tried over and over to reproduce it but oddly, matter how hard he tried, he could not seem to bring the same essence to the new painting.

"No matter what I did, I could not make the face look like the first Buddha painting and it frustrated me like crazy. So eventually just called it Buddha Two." 

Ten years later, a woman at one of David's meditation events shared that Lao Tzu had showed up to her with droves of messages - for David!! 

"Lao Tzu said he was my teacher 25 centuries ago.

He said that balance is the most important thing  (the Ying Yang symbol represents balance and Lao Tzu) and to live “the way”. 

Lao Tzu's book, The Way or The Tao Te Ching,  is the most translated book in the world after the Bible.

The message that was given to David is remarkable:

"Lao Tzu told me that my positive, uplifting words were going to become the priority of my career ( I was only selling flute music at the time) and had just started my first spiritual vocal album, Sounds From The Higher Consciousness Vol I ) and that through the teachings of many lifetimes, I would be poised to share this essential wisdom with the world through my art, music and words.

Lao Tzu also said that I made a painting of him that I thought was Buddha, but it was actually the essence of him! " 

And so the painting, formally called "The Buddha Two" has now transcended to "The Buddha Too" because you too can attain enlightenment through "the way", (the practice of balance and virtue).
